Tag Editor is easy and handy tool for batch tagging and renaming of large music collections on Mac computers. Supported formats: ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags for MP3, WAV, AIFF, FLAC, and MP4 tags for MP4 and M4A (Apple lossless) files. Supported tags: Album, Album Artist, Artist, Artwork, Audio Codec, Audio Format, Bit Rate (kbps), BMP (Tempo), Channels, Comment, Composer, Copyright, Disc Number, Encoded By, Genre, Grouping, Key, Title, Track Number and Year tags. Download music tags from online databases such as MusicBrainz, AcoustID, CoverArt.
Tag Editor can also create tags from files and folders names automatically, when opens files. Use Edit, Copy, Paste, Find and Replace functions for momentary changes in multiple selected tags. Clean up tags of wrong encoding, unify cases, remove extra spaces and characters. Convenient batch Artwork management: just drop an image or audio file to create cover arts for selected files. You even can drag an artwork from browser. Tag Editor can create artwork tags from images in local folders when open music files and download artworks from online databases.
For speed and accurate results: folders’ tree support – tag Editor will open music files from folder and its subfolders. Use keyboard shortcuts and multiple selection for speed and accurate audio tagging. Move rows with tags between windows. Use “Find” and “Filter” options to concentrate on relevant contents only. Sort column’s contents. Highlighting of changed cells and found search results helps to control the workflow. Quick Look allows quickly check if tags are correct and listen tracks within editor.
