The LINK AKC app is to be used with the LINK AKC smart collar to keep you connected and informed. It’s the only collar that has a remote turn on light to be seen at night and remote sound to assist in training. LINK AKC uses advanced GPS, Wifi, and bluetooth technology to track your dog’s location, monitor their activity levels, and keep an eye on your dog’s health and wellness.
LOCATE & TRACK YOUR DOG
Just like reaching out to a close friend via phone or text, you can always check in on your dog with LINK AKC. Using AT&T’s cellular network and GPS technology, you can stay connected whether you’re at home, on-the-go, or at work. Create a temporary virtual fence when you are away from home, visiting a friend, or off leash so you are alerted if your dog wanders too far. With the Lost Dog feature, you’ll be able to pin-point your dog’s location so your best friend is never gone too long or too far.
MONITOR YOUR DOG’S WELLNESS
LINK AKC’s proprietary three-axis accelerometer identifies, moderates, and learns your dog’s movements to track their activity and then provides recommended activity levels specifically for your dog’s breed, mixed breed, behavior, size and age. Ultimately, providing meaningful knowledge to give you peace of mind that you are doing what is best for your dog. Having consistent daily activity goals encourages both you and your dog to maintain healthy habits. Through the app, you can monitor daily and historical activity levels as well as set up a temperature alert to receive notifications if your dog gets too hot or too cold.
ARCHIVE VET RECORDS, VACCINATIONS, & TRAINING CERTIFICATES
Keep an inventory of all your dog’s documents, from vaccinations to training certificates. You can also set reminders for events and appointments. Records are simple to add, just snap a photo and save it to the app so you’ll always have it on hand.
RECORD, SAVE & SHARE ADVENTURES
Record, remember and share special walks, hikes, and other adventures. Each adventure includes a map with a distance and time stamp plus photos taken along the way. You can store an unlimited number of adventures!
TRAINING TOOLS & LIGHT
By accessing the sound or light button directly from the top of the app’s main page, you can use the sound to aid in training and the LED light allows your dog easily be seen at night. When you purchase the LINK AKC collar, you’ll receive the Tracking Unit, Collar Carrier, premium leather collar, charging base station (with extra USB to charge your phone at the same time), charging cord, and free access to the app (with an active service plan).
