The EDGE greatly reduces bookkeeping duties, and therefore permits more productive use of time to increase sales revenue. This is achieved in part through the CASH REGISTER function, which provides a computerized point of sale system that replaces the conventional cash register and offers complete control of all business transactions no matter how complex. Inventory information, customer information, employee data and salon performance information is all automatically updated with each transaction. “Cash-ins and cash-outs”, multi-employee transactions, refunds, handling various types of discounts, printing of receipts etc. are all very simple operations with this system.
Another key element of the EDGE SALON MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is the Appointments feature. The Edge Appointment is tied directly to the sales feature. As an appointment is setup it is transferred to the sales list view for quick completion. The time to check out a client is greatly decreased.
The INVENTORY sub-system is a very powerful feature. It is capable of handling the unique inventory structure of a full service salon. The system can control the flow of service, retail, professional, color, and bulk or refill sale products. It will monitor the flow of items received, transferred for use in the service area or as they are entered as a transaction in the system. The inventory reports eliminate overstocking as well as under-stocking thus permitting more effective use of capital.
