Cointab is a mobile app which enables you to manage your money with ease – add bank accounts from 50+ banks and easily check account balance, transfer money to friends & family in real-time and request money from them. Cointab is a simple and convenient way of banking. With this, you’ll no longer have to visit a bank branch/ ATM or use complex internet/ mobile banking systems. The app is based on Unified Payments Interface (UPI) platform developed by National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). FeaturesAdd multiple bank accountsYou can add multiple Savings and Current accounts from 50+ banks in India. You can add business current accounts too. UPI PIN for transaction authorizationAfter adding bank accounts, you have to generate a 4 or 6 digit UPI PIN for each account. Similar to how you use ATM PIN for each ATM transaction, you have to use UPI PIN during each transaction on Cointab. Check bank account balanceEasily check bank account balance by selecting an account and entering UPI PIN. To protect your privacy, we DO NOT store your bank account balance anywhere in our system. Transfer money- To friends and family without entering their account details- Self account- Account number + IFSC- Aadhaar number- To merchants using their mobile number/ payment address/ QR codeRequest money- When in need request money from friends and family. They’ll get a notification on their phone and subsequently can transfer money into your bank account. Donate MoneyFor the first time in India, donate money to Indian Army’s Welfare Fund – Battle Casualties to assist next of kin of battle causalities. Also, UPI PIN is captured on NPCI’s secure page using highest level of encryption and is not visible to us.
